Moements with William Morris (1834-1896)

William Morris was an English artist, textile, furniture designer, poet, novelist, publisher and activist.

He is acknowledged as the leader of the British Arts and Crafts movement of the second half of the nineteenth century.  He is best known for his chintz and linen fabrics, wallpaper and tapestry designs.  His patterns, based on flora and fauna are still popular today and can be seen on many everyday objects.
